Hokie Bird The Transfer Equivalency Data Base reflects courses evaluated previously for transfer credit.

New Transfer Students: Applicants with 12 or more college or university credit hours post high school graduation are defined as transfer students. SEND your official transcripts to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (https://vt.edu/admissions/transfer). The University Registrar evaluates official transcripts for students whom have accepted offers of admission. FINAL official transcripts are required prior to posting credits to the academic record.

Currently Enrolled Virginia Tech Students: Pre-approval for all potential transfer credit is required regardless of appearance of the credits in the Transfer Equivalency Data Base. Contact your academic dean (http://www.registrar.vt.edu/undergraduate/undergraduate-deans.html) for requests of pre-approval. Send official transcripts to the Office of the University Registrar, 250 Student Services Building (0134), Blacksburg, VA 24061.

Please be reminded that although courses may transfer to Virginia Tech, not all courses apply toward all degrees.
